ABOUT ME

Untitled design.jpg

Hello!

My name is Valerie Boswell and I would like to introduce myself.

Having grown up in Styria, I moved to Vienna to study art history, fascinated by expression, symbolism, and what art tells us about being human. Artists like Frida Kahlo and Salvador Dalí impressively demonstrate how closely art and psychological experience are intertwined.

I studied psychotherapy at SFU Vienna, specializing in cognitive behavioral therapy – a scientifically grounded, solution-oriented approach. I also incorporate elements of schema therapy to identify deeper patterns and compassionately develop new ways of relating to oneself.

I soon realized that I wasn't just interested in the artworks, but above all in the inner worlds of the people behind them. This led me to psychotherapy.

To find out if you feel comfortable with me, I offer a free initial consultation (approx. 30 minutes). During this consultation, we'll discuss your current situation, your questions and expectations – and whether we're a good fit.
If you decide to collaborate, we will shape the next steps.
together, individually and at your own pace.
